Italian Design Day 2018

The second edition of Italian Design Day (2018) is an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy in cooperation with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activity and Tourism - MiBAC, Triennale di Milano, the Italian Trade Promotion Agency - ICE, the Salone del mobile Milano, the Association for the Industrial Design, the “Compasso d'oro” Foundation and the "Altagamma" Foundation. The event aims to celebrate the excellence of Italian design in the world as a significant sector of Italian culture and economy. The initiative encompasses 100 ‘ambassadors’ of the Italian culture (designers, economists, journalists, critics, communicators, professors and etc.) that spreads the words about the relationship between the design and sustainability in more than 100 cities all over the World.

The second edition of the Italian Design Day in Serbia is organized in Belgrade by Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and Public art & Public space - PaPs. The round-table is held at the Faculty of Architecture in Blegrade on 1st of March 2018 at 6 o’clock (Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 72, II floor).

The speakers at the round-table are Francesco Fresa (architect) from the “Piurarch” Milano, Vladan Đokić (architect) Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Danilo Franchi (engineer) from the Energogroup, Tijana Đorđević (architect), from the "2G Srl" in Milano and, Zoran Đukanović (architect) professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade in the role of moderator.
